Eat your greens smoothie
Dark green leafy vegetables are full of calcium and iron. If you’re not getting a good bunch of them into your system every day, try sneaking one of these tasty smoothies in. Great for kids as well!
Stuff you’ll need:
- 1 medium to large banana
- a handful of baby spinach, washed
- water
How to make it:
- Break the banana up into pieces and put it in a blender with the other ingredients. Start with a small amount of water, then you can add more later if you like.
- Blend until smooth
- Pour into a tall glass over ice, add a straw and enjoy!
- Makes one large or two smaller smoothies.
