Classic banana smoothie
Sometimes a recipe is so simple that you can hardly believe it tastes so good. This classic banana smoothie recipe has been a favourite of mine since I was a child and it still hits the spot when I need a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.
Stuff you’ll need:
- 1 medium to large ripe banana
- 1 c soy milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
How to make it:
- Break the banana into pieces and put it in a blender along with the soy milk and vanilla
- Blend until smooth
- Pour into a tall glass, over ice if you desire, add a straw and enjoy!
- Makes one large smoothie.
